In the Summer of 2011, we both found ourselves in Jakarta, Indonesia. Yann and his brother Loic were visiting their dad and Danushka was spending time with her parents and brother at their family home.

This is where cupid, otherwise known as mutual friend, James Buchanan came into play. He invited us both for pre-drinks to a night out at his house and this is where we first met.

Having definitely made an impression on each other Summer ended and we returned to England and our respective lives.

Many years passed, but we stayed in touch via social media, "liking" the odd photo here and there, and after some VERY subtle attempts to make conversation over instagram on Yann's part we finally went on out first date in October 2019.

Sharing a similar sense of humour; love of travel, food and sport we were engaged in August 2023, while on holiday in Mallorca, Spain. Yann got down on one knee at sunset, on the Calvari Steps in Pollença with a beautiful ring and a bottle of champagne at the ready!

We are now so excited to add another chapter to our story and celebrate with each and every one of you. We look forward to seeing you in January 2025.
